So this book picks up right where we left off in Crown of Lies. The first thirty percent of this book had my heart in my throat. I’m mean I was scared to keep reading but I HAD to keep reading to see what was going to happen. We finally get the answers we ALL have been waiting for and I’m happy to say my theory was correct. As the story progresses something happens and the main characters are forced to be apart. During this time a lot of secrets and revelations come to light. Things that I didn’t even see coming! The only slight issue I had with this book was that with the couple being apart it was hard to feel their connection. Overall it was still an enjoyable read.
