New Release+Review: The Hawks by SD Hendrickson

Beth’s Review:

A story that will keep you at the edge of your seat.  The Hawks is filled with drama, tragedy, betrayal robbery and romance.  With trying to better herself and her family, Sarina is faced with many challenges.
Sarina finally had it made.  Or so she thought.  Working for Delsey Hawthorn was not easy task. Used to hard work, Sarina was thrown into the lions den with Mrs. Hawthorn. What made her nights better, was the chemistry and connection with Hawthorn’s grandson, Javier.  But what is meant for a temporary no strings relationship, love is created with expiration date.  With any relationships, there is always something or someone to throw a wrench into the mix.  Old flames, brothers and greed, a night that was supposed to be filled with joy turned into sorrow, pain and regret.
The Hawks is written from past and present.  The characters are written well and the plot kept you intrigued.  First time reading S.D. Hendrickson and I enjoyed reading The Hawks.
