My Review:

Gray and Layla meet during an unusual set of circumstances and the chemistry is off the hook! They are both head strong, passionate and stubborn. I loved the character development with the characters. They were well written and I could feel their connection as I read the story. I loved the banter that they had and my goodness the bedroom scenes were off the chain, smoking hot!!! Gray has such a filthy mouth and I loved it so much! I really loved Layla for Gray because she was just what he needed. Layla was strong and took no mess but has such a wonderful heart.

I loved this book.

I loved Gray.

I loved Layla.

I loved Etta.

I loved Ripp.

And even Freckles.

So now that I got that out of the way. Can you tell I loved this book? It’s been a while since I’ve read a solo book written by Vi Keeland and she has reminded me of what I’ve been missing. I really enjoyed this story with Gray and Layla. The plot was very refreshing and even the “it” moment that I knew was happening still took me for a loop! I wasn’t expecting that at all and it honestly changed the whole dynamic of the story in a good way.

During these chapters my heart was racing and I honestly didn’t know what was going to happen. To say it was a rollercoaster of emotions is putting it lightly. And I loved how the drama wasn’t over the top. This whole story had such a realistic feel and I found myself easily relating to the characters and wanting them to win in the end.

As I stated it’s been a while since I’ve read a solo book by Keeland but I shall be moving her other books, that are sitting on my kindle to the top of my list.
