I'm Paxton Wilder.
Motocross phenom & adrenaline junkie.
I have more tattoos than scars.
And I've never seen a stunt I couldn't pull off--
Or a girl I can't get off.
Until she walks in.

My new tutor is sexy, smart, more stubborn than I am, and one hundred percent off limits.
That's right--the only rule this semester is Don't Touch the Tutor.
For the first time in my life, I want someone I can't have.
She's the girl who obeys every rule.
I'm the guy who breaks them.
Our biggest risk is falling for each other,
but I live for risk...

Each book in the Renegades series is a standalone, full-length story that can be enjoyed out of order.

My Review:

Paxton Wilder is a X-Games Gold Medallist. Even though he’s good on the track and at daredevil stunts his academic career has taken a backseat. Enter Leah Baxter who is assigned to be his tutor for the next 9 months on the Study at Sea Program. They try to keep things “professional” due to the risks but that crashes and burns! The push and pull between then two just about killed me!! The slow burn was just what I needed!

“I might control your body, but you control every…part…of…me. He punctuated each word with a slight thrust against me.”

Paxton sure knows how get to wild in and out the bedroom!! Aside from the sexy times what I liked about this book is how two opposites completely attracted. Wilder was a dare devil, care free and “live for the moment” type. Leah was dealing with PTSD from something tragic that happened a few years ago. Leah is very reserved and afraid to take certain risks. Being with Paxton she learns to trust and most importantly live and love again. In addition to a romance we had some suspense as well. Several mysterious things kept happening and when it all came out I was like OMG!!! I didn’t see that coming at all especially since that character was right under my nose the whole time. I had my money on someone else and was in complete shock. Well done, Yarros!

“The Renegades” Landon and Penna were awesome secondary characters in this book. The way they all interacted you could tell they have been life long friends. What I loved about this book was that it sucked me in and I felt like I was apart of the crew. I felt like I was zip lining and going on all these stunts! As a big X-Games fan this book was right up my alley! I’m hoping the next book will be about Landon and this is definitely a series that I will continue reading!
