Jules finds out that he’s married during the interview, so she is reluctant to accept his job offer. With both of them being attracted to each other, they both know that they can’t cross that proverbial lines.
When the photo was sent to Cash of his cheating wife, part of him broke. He soon realized his marriage was just to broker a merger between families and love was only one-sided. With wanting a divorce and his wife silent treatment, he wanted out. With working day to day with Jules, he knew that fate dealt him his hand and he couldn’t ignore the gravitation to Jules. Lines crossed and blurred, Cash and Jules knew what they had together. With a sense of urgency, Cash knew he had to leave his wife and file for divorce. However, time will tell if Jules gets her happily ever after with Chase.
Yes, Trashy Foreplay consists of adultery. However, fate was determined to bring Cash and Jules together. The characters were great together. First time reading anything from Gemma James. And I thoroughly enjoyed her writing. I cannot wait to read the next installment!
