I’ve never read anything by this author and I was pleasantly surprised with this book. It was a cute, funny and a light  hearted read. As much as I enjoyed the story I did have a few minor issues. The relationship between Lanie and Tyler was supposed to be fun and no commitment which I was ok with but then they developed feelings and everything happens 1,2,3 and it was kind of unbelievable. They did have chemistry and the sex was hot but I would have liked to have more time with the couple especially after the drama they went through but the ending was just so abrupt. Their friends were so busy meddling and being nosey, it became a turn off at one point. There’s a difference with being concerned and they were just nosey.They are grown adults let them work it out themselves. Despite those minor issues I still enjoyed the story. The writing was good, the plot held my attention and I did enjoy the secondary characters. Without reading the first book I still felt like I was apart of the gang. I will definitely be reading the next book in the series and I picked up the first book!
