Henley Marlowe was once upon a time Max’s apprentice. She’s smart, motivated and talented, but she also has a smart mouth and he ended up firing her on the spot 5 years ago. Now she’s back and working for the competition.
These characters are sexy, strong and too stubborn for their own good. When they are thrown together in the kind of project that brings an insane amount of exposure to a business, the kind you cannot walk away from, they’ll find themselves tested to the limit and their underlying attraction will set the tone of their relationship.
As usual, Ms. Blakely will not disappoint giving the readers a story full of laughter, romance and sexiness, this time with the backdrop of car mechanics. Max and Henley’s story is fast paced and engaging, maybe not my favorite Summers to date, but it will definitely entertain you whether you are a longtime fan or new to the author.
