I remember the very first time I laid eyes on Cole Lincoln. It still feels like yesterday when he stumbled into my life with his messy brown hair and dark eyes. Even though I was only ten years old at the time, I knew right then and there that he was going to change everything.

With the first time reading Melissa Toppen, I was pleasantly surprised with How We Fall. Such a sweet, loving and moving story how of two childhood friends who were thick as thieves but were afraid to tell each other how they felt. But with tragedy hitting their hometown, Cole and Melanie were brought back together. With now being an adults, will they finally tell each other how they feel about one another?
I really enjoyed reading How We Fall. Well written and before I knew it, it was over. My heart hurt for how much Melanie endured and how she traded so much for her family. How We Fall is a definitely a good feel book and a must read.
