Stevie has been dealt a crappy hand and has had it rough her while young life. Stevie is broken, battered and down on her luck until Benny comes in and offers her a new chance at life. Stevie lives her life a certain way, with a quest for vengeance after Benny’s death and everything’s going according to plan until she is sent on one mission. Baz. This mission will be the one to turn her whole world upside down.
So, I pretty much thought I knew what I was getting into when signing up to review and I was wrong. This book was filled with so many twists, turns and shocking revelations that I honestly didn’t see coming. My jaw was literally dropping towards the second half of the story. Bombshell after bombshell was being dropped and my head was spinning. I couldn’t imagine being in Stevie’s shoes throughout this story.
This story was fast paced and makes you want to keep reading. I devoured the story in a few hours because I had to know what was going to happen next! It’s so refreshing to read a book that keeps you on your toes and on the edge of your seats until the very end! If you love or even like dark and suspenseful reads this book is definitely up your alley!!
