BLURB:

Twenty-two years ago, I was cut from a cold, sodden womb, and cradled in the filth and poverty of Chicago’s concrete arms. Statistically, I wasn’t supposed to survive these streets past the age of eighteen.

Fate had a different plan.

I was bred for one purpose and one purpose only: to unleash death and destruction on my world.

My thoughts are power.

My words are weapons.

Evil created me then grace tried to save me. But first… they tried to kill me.
They call themselves the Se7en. They are sin and salvation, and everything we’ve feared from the beginning of time. And their leader is the deadliest of them all.

He doesn’t lose.

He doesn’t compromise.

And most importantly, he doesn’t distract himself with mortal weakness.

Not until me.

Kill one to save a million.

That’s what he told me when he took me as his prisoner.

Kill one to save a million.

That’s what he’s been trying to tell himself ever since he took me into his arms.

The Paranormal Gods have blessed me with another book from S.L. Jennings. I am a HUGE paranormal fan and loved her Dark Light Series. When I heard the news she was writing a new series I was so excited!! Jennings has such a way with words and the paranormal stories she creates are just out of this world. I felt myself sucked into this world and didn’t want to leave.
We have Eden who her whole life has felt “odd” and her mom was convinced she had the devil in her! Life was easy but she was getting by with her sister. One day she is kidnapped by the Se7en and everything changes. I loved these group of characters. Everyone has different personalities and is unique in their own way. Let talk about “L” aka Legion. Man oh man my poor demon who has the weight of the world on his shoulders.
”You make me want to sin”
The back and forth between Legion and Eden. My goodness I couldn’t take it anymore with them two!! Legion was so conflicted and didn’t want to act on his attraction and man you could cut the sexual tension with a knife! I won’t spoil to much but you will need to be in a cool room while reading because we have some scorching scenes.
Let’s talk about that ending with that trifling heifer Lilith! She had me fooled and I wanted to slap the taste out of her mouth!! I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens!! I enjoyed seeing Gabriella and Dorian. Made me want to read The Dark Light Series all over again!! S.L. Jennings has done it again and so happy she’s back to writing Paranormal!! Thank You for making this PNR girl happy again!!
