For the love of Disco, Chip and Shiplack and oh my Trevor! When I first started reading Best Man, I was instantly hooked. This fun, steamy and loving story will make you fall in love with Veronica and Trevor.
Trevor had a knack of understanding women. It started early on when he was 10 years old. From then, he payed attention. And without having a “serious” relationship through Trevor for a loop when his sites were set on Veronica. You see, Trevor was the best man at her wedding. Now divorced after nine years, Vern bumps into him at a Hipster Bar. They become friends. With simple texts, calls and even Friday FunDay, they both started having feelings for each other. They were both falling for each other but he knew thing the “proverbial” shoe to drop. Hello honesty. From lessons learned, will he be able to gain her trust once again?
This is my first time reading Barbie Bohrman. I will be definitely add more to my TBR list. I thoroughly enjoyed The Best Man.
4.5 Book Corner Stars
Pretty much going to make this short and sweet. I enjoyed this story but I felt it was a little too insta love for me. I know Trevor and Veronica have a past history but I would have liked a slower burn between the two characters. We had some funny moments, a meddling mother who couldn’t take a hint and of course ex-husband drama. This is the perfect book to read after a heavy read and you need to regroup. Overall I was left satisfied with this book and looking forward to continuing the series.
