THE SHOW ME SERIES
This is a new to me author and I did like the but I had certain issues with the story. I had a hard time feeling the connection between the characters. I felt like the author told us about their relationship and didn’t show us and that didn’t work for me. This is billed as a clean romance which doesn’t bother me but in order for me to enjoy the story more I needed more of a slower burn. I wanted to really get invested with the characters as a couple and that just didn’t happen for me. The story did hold my interest and I was curious to see where the story was heading and imagine my surprise with that ending and I’m still trying to wrap my head around everything that happened!! This was the first time I read this author and I enjoyed her writing style and I feel like her longer novels will work better for me in the future.3 Book Corner Stars

In college, she penned her first novel which ended up at the bottom of a desk drawer after being rejected by a publishing house.
