New Release+Review: Desolate (Grace Trilogy, Book One) by Autumn Grey

Review:

I’ve been so excited to read this book and can honestly say it was worth the wait! This was a well written forbidden romance novel. Solomon and Grace have known each other for a very long time. Solomon at a young age decided he wants to give his life to the Lord and serve the Church. Solomon has always been strong in his convictions but one person that always makes him second guess himself is Grace. I LOVED the tension, back and forth and build up between these characters.

They both at times frustrated me with their actions but I had to remind myself that they are teenagers. This book as such a delicious slow burn and I loved how real everything felt between the characters. You could feel their passion, frustration, indecision and pain. Seeing Solomon struggle with his decision made me want to reach in my kindle and hug him. I just want him to be happy after everything he’s been through.

I honestly have no idea how this series is going to turn out but I’m here for the long haul. Autumn Grey is an author who showed up on my radar last year and I can honestly say she is becoming one of my favorite authors. Grey has such a way with words and her writing sucks you in from the very beginning.
