Going in I was expecting your typical triangle story and got way much more!! Maverick growing up has been in love with Killian. Kael, the younger brother of Killian has been in love with Maverick. So yes that’s two brothers in love with the same woman!! Talk about a whole cup of messy!!
“I don’t want to be a dirty secret. I want forever. With you.”
The author switches from past and present tense to show us how everything developed. Killian and Maverick have this hot, fiery passionate relationship. While her and Kael had a slow burn friendship turned relationship. I liked both brothers for different reasons. This book had me going all over the place. There were so many twists and turns in this book. Truths got revealed and lies got exposed. My mind was reeling at one part. The angst was really good in this book.

The whole who will she choose had me on the edge of my seat. Once the bombshell was dropped I was Team K ;). Sadly, Maverick didn’t choose the guy I wanted but chose the guy who was right for her. If you wanna know you have to read the book, not going to spoil it! Even though I was annoyed my guy didn’t get picked, I really enjoyed this book. Kreig is a new to me author and I will be sure to check out more books!
