He wanted her from the first time he saw her while she was stranded. But with mistaken identity and a explosive outburst, he didn’t stop to ask questions. He assumed the worst. They both had to lean on each other and communicate. She had to learn to open up to him and face obstacles together and not just herself. He was her rock and she was the Boom.
I absolutely love this series. Relationships are curves and speed bumps. Nothing in life is easy. And we saw that without Kim and Sage.
4.5 Book Corner Stars
Kim meets Sage while dealing with a flat tire. Their attraction is instant and their connection is strong. After spending sometime together, something happens and Sage flies off the handle leaving Kim alone. After that Kim vows she is done for good. Without giving away spoilers this part of the book really made my blood boil. Granted, they didn’t know each other that well I wished Sage would have believed Kim. He was so quick to be an ass and I wished she would have made him work harder for her forgiveness. He did put up an effort but he could have worked harder in my opinion.
Sage was your typical alpha male. He has a good heart but he could be too hot tempered at times and I wish he would have calm down and listen to Kim more. He was so quick to fly off the handle and it was a turn off at times. I’m glad as the book progresses he got his adr together. I knew you could do it!
This was my first time reading anything this author and it was a cute read, the story was fast paced and kept me interested. The relationship did move a little too fast for my taste but nonetheless I still enjoyed the book. This book shows the ups and downs of relationships and how everything isn’t sunshine and rainbows. Shows how you have to work hard and fight for what you want in the name of love. It you like sweet, insta love books that make you feel good look no further.
