Malone is a veterinarian who also moonlights as a club singer. *Swoons* Sloane is his business partner daughter and is completely off limits but that doesn’t mean the attraction isn’t there between the two. Malone and Sloane became my favorite book couple after reading this story. They had good banter, driven and huge animal lovers. I have to say the sexual chemistry was off the charts between the two and I thought I was going to combust while reading. I loved seeing characters from previous novels make an appearance. It was like catching up with old friends. This book has become one of my favorite Lauren Blakely novels. The writing was solid, the plot held my interest and it left me with a big smile when I was finished. If you’re looking for a fun, steamy, animal loving book, look no further.
