Review:

I have been a big fan of this series and this book did not disappoint.

Bones Whiskey is a member of the Dark Knight and a doctor as well. His character has always intrigued me and I couldn’t wait to read his book. Bones has taking a liking to Sarah.  Sarah is a mother of two and with one on the way. She is a newbie to Peaceful Harbor. I loved the way Bones was with Sarah and her kids. He was sweet, loving, loyal and protective.

Sarah has a horrible backstory and no matter what she did she  couldn’t catch a break and is now always waiting for the other shoe to drop. I wanted to reach in and give her a big hug. Her story gutted me. I loved how the whole gang took her and her kids in and treated them like family.

“So I know how passionately I need to love you to wash away the memories of him.”

Bones was so patient and understanding when it came to her reservations. I loved how Sarah evolved and got the help that she needed and had a wonderful support system as well.

This series by Melissa Foster is one of my favorites. Aside from the wonderful writing I love how she doesn’t do the typical stereotype that bikers are bad people and cause trouble. The Dark Knights are about protection and making sure people do the right thing. Taking care of their family.  I love everything they represent and this was my second favorite book after “Tru Blue”,the next book will be about Sarah’s sister, Josie and I’m curious to read her story and see more of the gang.
