Here’s a tip: never underestimate romance.
Falling in love was the furthest thing from my mind. I’m a single mother raising a strong little boy, and he is my one and only priority.

And then I got to know his mother: She was strong, independent, drop-dead gorgeous, and someone I desired – I just needed to prove it to her.
She called me Mr. Romeo, and that was fine with me.
Lesson learned: Love always trumps everything.
Soccer balls, finger painting and falling in love with Mr. Romeo.  Who wouldn’t fall down the rabbit hole with Luca and Sabrina?  This sweet romance of finding love and second chances.    Luca didn’t just fall in love with Sabrina.  He also fell in love with her son, Mikey.
Sabrina’s sole purpose was her son.  With always being there for him, she had to open and trust her heart.  Her trust in men was a hard limit.  With finding out her deceased husband cheated on her, who wouldn’t be a little jaded.  Luca definitely had his work cut out for him.  With small steps, he earned her trust.  It wasn’t just being her sons coach  and best friend.  Luca knew that Sabrina was special.  At times it was one step forward and two steps back with her.  Luca was determined a life of happiness.  But when Sabrina can’t let go of the hurt of her past, she makes a cowardly decision.
You will definitely fall head over heals with Mr. Romeo.  A slow build of love and romance.  A must read!

Luca’s POV

Only an inch separated our mouths, but the cool air that replaced her warm lips had me going back for more. Wanting to feel them again, the second time I pressed harder. She parted just enough to convey she also wanted more.
My conscience nagged, forcing me to again break the connection and end the temptation. Her breath hitched when I added more distance, as if I removed her source of oxygen.
“I better go,” I whispered. The uncertainty in her eyes killed me. “Sabrina, I don’t want to… I need to.”
