This was my first Lexi Blake book and it won’t be my last!
Reilly, along with his siblings are hell bent of revenge for the murder of their parents. Reilly, while on his quest for revenge falls unexpectedly for Ellie Stratton, who is the enemy. Reilly had a very tough upbringing after his parents death. He doesn’t let people in but Ellie is the game changer. Their relationship happened just a little to quick for me and I would have preferred a slow build up between the two characters. I did enjoy the banter between the brothers and their baby sister Mia. Bran is my favorite and I hope we get a book about him. Drew is another one whose story I can’t wait to read as well. This story had so many twists and turns that I did not see coming at all!! Talk about not being able to trust anybody! My God poor Ellie had no one!! The last few chapters had me at the edge of my bed while I was reading! I honestly wasn’t expecting half the stuff that happened to happen. Blake really knows how to write a suspense story. Any fans of Romantic Suspense NEEDS to read this book!!!
