ARC Review: Rebel Heart by LK Farlow
My Review:
I really love second chance romances. Especially ones when the main characters were best friends growing up. Then if you really want to reel me in you have them not like each other and add some tension along the way. So with that being said this is what I got when I read “Rebel Heart” by LK Farlow and I enjoyed the ride.
Aj and Brock used to be best friends growing up but things changed and several years later they are forced to reunite and neither one of them are happy. I loved the underlying tension between Brock and Aj. I have to say Aj, was my kind of girl because she didn’t take any mess and didn’t conform to what other people wanted her to be. You only have one life and if you aren’t hurting anyone you need to live it for you. I liked Brock and he had a lot on his shoulders. To be honest I’m surprised he didn’t have a breakdown with all the nonsense he had to deal with in his personal life.
This was a quick and fast paced read but nonetheless it was enjoyable. I loved the secondary characters, Stacia and Wes. I’m hoping we get a book featuring them in the future. LK Farlow has quickly become one of my go to authors and I absolutely love her stories!
