Blurb
This could have been a love story. It could have been, but he screwed that all up. You see, he thinks it’s a game. He thinks I’m his pawn, but he couldn’t be more wrong. Every move he makes, I’ll block him. Every time he thinks he’s about to seize me, I’ll run. Some men underestimate the power of the queen because they’re too busy playing king. They forget she’s the most powerful piece on the board. And love is not a game I’m apt at losing. What will it take for him to realize I’ll never be his pawn, but I’ll happily play his queen? Love is not a game, but the chase certainly is.

Hold on to your horses, White Pawn will give a ride for your life.  This psychological, obsessive and manipulative thriller read will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.  How far would you go to get the man you want?

White Pawn is definitely not a light read. It’s dark.  But it’s a really good.  The way Stevie Cole portrays the characters are very detailed to the point. It feels like I’m in the coffee shop watching everything play out.  The way Marisa is two steps ahead of Justin and always observing.   She gets what she wants and no one will step in her way.   Without giving spoilers, I would hate to be on Marisa’s bad side.  I’m kind of scared of her.  But in all, Justin and Marisa’s creative minds belong together.  When two authors come together, they create their own story with a twisted plot.
Everyone deserves love.  Even when you should be in a padded room or sleep with one eye open.  And Stevie is right, this is not a normal love story. It’s thrilling!

Author Bio
Stevie J. Cole lives deep in the woods of Alabama with her husband
and two precious daughters. She studied Epidemiology concentrating on cancer
research but has always had a passion for writing. Some of her stories will
strip you bare, some will give you nightmares, but the one thing she can
promise is that she will always give you stories that make you feel.

Raw. Gritty. Love.
Because sometimes characters need to be flawed.

P.S. Stevie’s greatest fear is the impending zombie apocalypse. Think about it:
swarming armies of decaying, oozing corpses stumbling around with clicking
teeth, trying to eat your face. Nothing about that is good. NOTHING!
