Divorce. Divide.
Gage Falcon’s life is turned upside down. When backed against a wall, he does what men with ‘Steel’ convictions do…take control.
Fight. Strength.
Phoenix Star knows it’s going to take everything inside her to be who she is destined to be. Fresh out of college and knowing she can’t go home and get where she wants to get, she takes the path less traveled.
Redefining life sends them both down a long dirt road to…become.
What happens when two people starting over in life and needing to find some control come face to face?
They get…HAMMERED!
Hammered (Steel Country #1)
by MJ Fields
Gage Falcon is going through a tough time. His ex-wife has come back after getting her act cleaned up and has their son for a whole month and he’s gone to his place outside the city to find some much needed inner peace. Following his friends’ advice, he’s also attempting to get “back in the saddle” which proves a rather difficult task.
Phoenix Star is fresh out of college and trying to make a decision as to where to take her life once the summer is over. She’s rented a place at Falcon’s Landing in order to find herself while working a few jobs close by. It is at one of the jobs she meets the infuriating, dirty talking man that sets her on edge.
I have to say, that I’ve loved everything I’ve read from Ms. Fields so far and Hammered didn’t disappoint. It is a fast read with an amazing flow and, true to her style, it is raw and intense, full of dirty words and sexy scenes as well as a lot of heartfelt situations and sentiments. Gage and Phoenix are forces of nature, hardworking, each strong in their own right and loyal to the bone. They are not ready to fall in love, but when they finally give into their attraction, they’ll find themselves being exactly what the other needs.
Can’t wait to read more about the Falcon brothers.

Her style is raw, gritty and authentic.
Love an alpha and a strong heroine? She does too.
