New Release+Review: It Was Always You by S.L. Sterling
Beth’s Review:
Parker and Tatum was the “It” couple until they were not. But their soul’s didn’t get the message. A piece of them was always missing, their other half. The journey ended because of long distance, careers and fear. All that changed when when Tatum moved to be closer to her brother and ultimately Parker.
Tatum was getting out of an abusive and toxic relationship, she then moves to be closer to her brother. And closer to Parker. With not being together for eight years, they picked up where they left off. Desire, passion and their chemistry was explosive. But Parker is trusting his heart again not to be broken. He is protective of Tatum. And when he discovers her past, we get introduced to a new side of him. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows. Their relationship is tested once again with a new career opportunity. Could the past make a reoccurrence?
It Was Always You was a good read. The characters and supporting ones were written well. Parker wore his heart on his sleeve, was a stand up guy and was protective. With the circumstances that Tatum was dealt, she was strong to get out of the abusive relationship with Dean. For other situations, I felt she needed to rise up and not be stubborn and indecisive. Overall, I enjoyed it.
