Synopsis
Chase is an Olympic swimmer going for gold. Focused, driven, intense.
Emma is a blogger going for the scoop, and she has the perfect in. She’s gotten herself hired as his physical therapist. With all that intimate time together, the secrets from his past don’t stand a chance.
And neither does she.
Note: In Deep is a standalone hot, contemporary romance. It’s the first of four standalones in the “All In” series, which can be read in any order.
Emma Nelson has landed the gig of her life: she’s a physical therapist for the U.S. swim team going to the Olympics in Rio, a dream come true. Chase Carter is the star swimmer of the team, the golden boy who is favorite to win up to 9 medals. But they both have secrets… Emma is a blogger trying to get the scoop on the most reluctant member of the swim team, Carter, but he’s not prepared to reveal the one thing every blog, newspaper and tabloid is after to anybody.
In Deep is a nice story with the rather original and current backdrop of the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio. It’s well told, with good characters. I was very drawn about Chase’s dominant, driven and focused personality; a man who made himself stronger in the aftermath of a life event that could have crippled him
and Emma’s sweet disposition made the perfect match for him. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and I found myself sweating a few times with these two. On the downside, I found the book a little slow paced for my taste, but it was overall a good read.

When I read the blurb and saw this book was about the Olympics I had to sign up to review.
Emma is a blogger and physical therapist who is looking to take her blog to the next level. Emma and her best friend hatch a plan for her to go undercover. Emma’s plan is to get Olympic Hottie Chase Carter to open up to her and get the inside scoop for their blog.
I have never read anything by Callie Harper and wasn’t sure what to expect. The writing was really good but the story did drag a little in the beginning. Once it picked up man oh man I couldn’t stop reading. There are plenty of hot scenes and I recommend reading in an air conditioned room. Some parts were a little predictable once Emma’s secret came out but I still enjoyed the story overall. If you are looking for a steamy, low angst romance this story is for you!
