New Release+Review: I Wanna Text You Up by Teagan Hunter
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: February 1, 2018
When I put up a ROOMMATE WANTED poster, he was the last person on earth I thought would respond.
He was also the last person on earth I’d agree to let live with me…on purpose.
But, here we are—roommates. I’m certain we can coexist without it being awkward, and I’m determined to make it work. There will be no sexual tension building with each accidental touch, no flutters when he wears that stupid backward baseball cap, and definitely no flirting when we text back and forth.
Caleb Mills can’t be the guy for me. He’s my best friend’s ex-boyfriend.
And that would be wrong…right?
I just loved this read!!! This funny and tons of LOL moments. With the starts of fun emails that turned up texting. The banter and chemistry of Caleb and Zoe was fantastic.
I went into this blind. I didn’t read Let’s Get Textual but that didn’t matter. Teagan Hunter was fabulous explaining the characters. She captured my interest at the beginning and felt like I knew them for so long.
When Zoe writes up an ad for a new roommate. She was totally not expecting Caleb. With their schedules being crazy, their communication was done through texts. Those texts opened up to a whole new level. The attraction was off the charts. Zoe was hesitant because Caleb was her best friends ex. With her blessing, no holds bar when the we’re together. But with every relationship, you have ups and downs. Could the down ruin what they had or could they come out on top?

When her best friend and roommate since freshman year moves with her boyfriend, free-spirited Zoe will start looking for someone to share her space to avoid feeling lonely. Not one to discriminate, she’ll consider having a guy roommate provided he doesn’t try to make a move on her.
Caleb Mills is down on his luck and in desperate need of a new place to live. When he answers the roommate ad, the last thing he expects is to be emailing his former girlfriend’s roommate.
With their schedules turning them into ghost roommates, they will text to keep in touch.
This is another great story from the author where two very different people come together with the help of electronic communication.
I liked the characters, their interaction and, especially, their background stories. Caleb was very different from what I initially thought and I really liked how big mouthed, direct until it hurts Zoe was hesitant to surrender to their attraction because of her friendship with his ex-girlfriend. The girl was totally bound by the girl code and that’s something one has to respect!
A truly enjoyable story filled with fun, flirt and romance.

By day I’m a freelance cover designer. By every other free moment, a writer. I’m a Missouri raised gal, but I currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband where I spend my days begging him for a cat. I survive off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When I’m not writing, you can find me binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. I like cold weather, buy more paperbacks than I’ll ever read, and I never say no to brownies.
