Dear Captor,You show me you care, but then something changes. The brightness in your eyes
shines through on your good days, but when you come to me on your dark days,
the blackness has taken over.
At least I know what I’m in for . . . pain.
You’ve managed to crawl under my skin in the most excruciating yet sensual way,
my darkest secrets are now yours, and the emotions I feel for you are something
I’ve never felt before. This sensation is strange, yet exhilarating.
Do you feel the same?
If you do love me, please . . . let me go.

The conclusion of the Letters in Blood series is one full of twists mixed with unexpected surprises. I think everyone reading has a theory and I was not far from the mark in my original idea, but oh, holy twist Batman!
This series was my first read by the author and I thought the whole plot was quite original. The suspense level kept me interested across the books and I couldn’t wait to read more about the characters.
That being said, I found myself a little disappointed with the delivery of this last installment and it fell a little flat at the end for my taste.
3.5 Book Corner Stars
This book picks up right where we left off and we are finally given some much needed answers about who Captor really is and I have to say I was a little disappointed with the revelation. We also have a copy cat as well and when the killer’s identity I had a feeling it was this person. I didn’t enjoy this story as much as the others because as the final book I was expecting more detail about certain events and closure in certain areas. I also don’t agree with Elenore’s choices in this story either so that was another hit for me as well. Overall, I did enjoy this series as a while and so happy I found this author!
