Rumors never bothered me. If people want to guess at my sexuality because I design dog clothes for a living—let them. I know the truth.
I’m a red-blooded heterosexual male and just because I don’t have my tongue hanging out of my mouth around every female like my dog Cooper, doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the female form.
Now with Teegan Lowery in my life I’m suddenly panting right next to Cooper, hoping for a taste.
I hired her for her stellar PR skills, but she’s slowly weaseling her way into a spot I’ve kept a NO VACANCY sign on for years. Everything about Teegan screams unavailable. The last thing I need is another dramatic, high maintenance woman in my life. Believe me, been there and done that.
But the sexual tension between us is like a game of tug-of-war and neither of us wants to lose.
I love dogs.
She hates them.
Turns out, we both love doggie style.
Lourdes Review
Leo Vaughn moved to L.A. to be an actor, but that didn’t work and he ended up with a successful business designing dog clothes. With the career choice, the good looks and the lack of known girlfriend, come the rumors about his sexual preference, but Leo is too much man to care about them.
Teegan Lowery is struggling to establish herself as an independent PR rep after losing her job with a recognized firm to a man. Resenting the male gender and with serious emotional baggage, she’ll make her best effort to get Leo to hire her.
The pull between them is strong, but with the help of the rumors and a few misinterpretations, Teegan will believe Leo’s off limits for the wrong reasons and he’ll keep his hands off on account of her being in his employ.
IMO, this is the best Piper Rayne’s written to date. I loved everything about Leo and Teegan’s struggle is so real it broke my heart. He is perfect from top to bottom, inside and out. A man with a heart of gold, who goes after what he wants and doesn’t care about what people think or say about him. Teegan is beautiful, strong and independent, but had a difficult upbringing with an unstable mother who keeps looking for love which makes Teegan scared and emotionally unavailable.
As all the authors’ previous stories, Doggie Style is funny and sweet, the writing flows effortlessly and the book is a fast and entertaining read packed with good friends, the perfect amount of laughter and a love story to melt your heart.
