Book Review: These Vengeful Hearts by Katherine Laurin

My thoughts:

The way this book was set up I was expecting a really dark story and sadly this book didn’t deliver. It was plain, dull and at times predictable. I wanted more of the secret society aspect and less of the teenage growing pains and angst. The ending was a letdown and I felt it was wrapped up too nicely for my liking. The only reason I kept on with the story was due to the narrator. They did a really good job with bringing this story to life and I say that as a very picky audio book listener.
