Book Review: Marked By The Vampire (Purgatory Book 2) by Cynthia Eden

Review:

This is the second book the series. Even though it can be read as a stand-alone it continues with the sub plot from the first book. The story was good and the plot was hot, fast and action packed. I LOVED Shane in this book. Just something about this Vampire that was so hot and bad-ass. I liked Olivia’s character as well and I loved the build up and tension between the two characters.[spoiler]Now here is where the book took a turn for me. I understand that Olivia was a Djinn, was really powerful and possibly evil but I didn’t like how they got rid of her powers. Yes, they made her into a Vampire but I felt that was an easy fix. I would have liked her to stay a djinn and not lose her powers. It would be nice to see how the couple would have come to terms with her power and I felt she would be a better assets if she was still a djinn. Changing her in my mind just made her weak and that part of the book fell flat. [/spoiler] Aside from that minor issue this was another good story and this series has taken me by surprise!
