Book Review: I Know Who You Are by Alice Feeney
Review
Have you ever read a book and really liked it but the ending was a letdown? Sadly this was my experience with this book.
I have to say the main character Aimee blew my mind. Throughout the whole book she pretty much had her head in the clouds. The final twist in the book still has me wondering how Aimee didn’t know who this person was given their past history. Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t get how she didn’t know and was so shocked.
I must say the police in this story are horrible. They treated this case as if it was their first day on the job. My goodness. What. A. Mess.
The story switched from past and present which I liked. The present I did find to be a little slow in the beginning but once it picked up it was good. The past had me hooked from the start and I couldn’t read fast enough to see how everything would correlate. There was a lot of build up and anticipation in this book and when I got to the final chapters I felt they were rushed and the ending was flat. Even after I finished reading I still have questions.
