Jones and Jillian have been tip toeing around their attraction for one another for a while now. Jones is trying revamp his image from playboy to good boy. Jillian is his publicist and she is working hard to make this happen. Jones and Jillian together are gold! We got to see different sides of each characters and I enjoyed those moments as well. I loved the banter, chemistry and the sexual tension was off the charts hot!!
Here is where things get tricky. I am a huge fan of Lauren Blakely but this book didn’t work out the way I wanted in the sports aspect. Don’t get me wrong, it was a good story and her writing was flawless! But when it comes to sports romances, for me there needs to be a certain balance of sports and romance. I LOVED the romance but I wanted more sports especially since I’m a big football fan.
