Single mother Abbey Fuller loves her family more than anything, and doesn’t regret for a moment having had to put her dreams of being an interior designer on hold. But with her son, Max, growing up, when a friend recommends her for a small design job she jumps at the chance. How hard can it be?

Nick Sinclair needs his house decorated in time for his family’s festive visit – and money is no object. What he doesn’t need is to be distracted from his multi-million dollar business – even if it is Christmas.

When Abbey pulls up to the huge Sinclair mansion, she has a feeling she might be out of her depth. And when she meets the gorgeous, brooding Nicholas Sinclair, she knows that she’s in real trouble…

With the snow falling all around, can Abbey take the chance to make her dreams of being a designer come true? And can she help Nick to finally enjoy the magic of Christmas?

Review:

Abbey is a single mother and a nurse. She is hired by her clients grandson to decorate his house for the holidays. Abbey has always wanted to be an interior designer but she put her dreams on hold to take care of her son.  I really loved Abbey because she had such a good heart. She often put others before her own needs and was very selfless.

Nick is a workaholic who has kind of lost sight of things. He’s all work and no play. I loved throughout the book the layers are peeled back and we got to see another side Nick. He is such a sweetheart and I loved it! I loved the way Nick interacted with Abbey’s son, Max. They had some sweet moments in the story that made me tear up.

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays and I’m a sucker for holiday reads. This was my first time reading  Jenny Hale and I loved this book so much. It really focused on what Christmas is all about and I loved the message! This was a feel good Christmas story that warmed my heart and left me with a huge grin after I finished reading.
