HGTV’s Property Brothers meets The Marriage Bargain in this third volume in the Billionaire Builders series, an all-new, heart-wrenching, and sexy contemporary romance from New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst.

Tristan Pierce left the family business to carve out a life of his own, but never forgot his passionate affair with the much younger, inexperienced Sydney Greene, or the hurtful breakup that tore him apart. When he’s forced to return home and face his past, will he be able to carve out a future, or will lies ruin his second chance at love?

Sydney Greene loved Tristan her entire life but when he left, he took not only her heart, but her trust along with him. Now that they’re together again, it’s time they both face the biggest secret of all...

Review:

I’m a sucker for second chances romances especially when the couple grew up together. So it was a no brainer I would be ALL over this book! Tristan and Sydney started a ‘relationship’ as teens. Tristan has a tough family life and he decides to leave for New York. Tristan wants Sydney to go with him but she refuses. As the story progresses you find out the reason why and it’s a big one. Talk about intense! Eventually the secrets are revealed and as to be expected there are all types of emotions. I get why Sydney did what she did but I wish she would have come cleaner soon. Tristan eventually came back to town and you have been around him for two WHOLE years and didn’t say anything. I felt that was mean. I get that he’s a jerk but he still should have been told. Tristan was something else at times, he could be a real jerk and honestly I didn’t like his character. Even though Sydney had her faults she was human and easy to relate to and I liked her character a lot. Sydney was strong, fierce, a go getter and someone I can see myself being friends with in real life. As a fan of the series I am happy that all the brothers found peace and everything worked out in the end.
