The ice is heating up with Hayden Holmes. Hayden was a favorite of mine and Adalyn is a strong heroine. Meghan Quinn didn’t disappoint at all. I absolutely loved it.
The Suit, The Rebel or The Jock “Three Blind Dates” are remarkable in their own way. But Hayden Holmes was by far the MVP for me. I loved what Meghan did by writing before and after what happened with “Three Blind Dates”. The back story of how Hayden and Adalyn evolved was perfect. Hayden was not just some rookie NHL star. He was the whole package. And Adalyn saw the man who not just played hockey. He was there for his friends and family, he was patient and kind, and he was a true friend. But what Adalyn didn’t see was her ‘guy’ best friend pining for her and Hayden being traded to a team across the country. Everything all happening at once, what is one more thing that wasn’t planned? Two positive lines…pregnant.
Adalyn and Hayden are dealt with quite a pair. Love, long distance and being on the road. But their love and commitment is strong and powerful. Just loved these two!!

Author, wife, adoptive mother, and peanut butter lover. Will dance for laughs, won’t eat anything spicy because you asked, but will squeeze boobs in replace of a hug. Grew up in Southern California (Temecula, anyone? Anyone?) lived in New York (the armpit of NY, not the city) and now resides in Colorado with my wife, son, two dogs, three cats, and my multiple book boyfriends. Loves love, anything romantic, and will die if I ever meet Tom Hanks. Yay, books!
