Lourdes Review:
In this installment Elenore is fighting for her life while Roman is desperately looking for her.  Knowing her letters and the unusual connection to her captor are keeping her alive, Elenore will not give up her fight to stay alive.
Old secrets will be uncovered and the story will take more than one unexpected turn.  Everyone’s a suspect, but who has Elenore and what will happen at the end of it all?
This part was definitely gripping and just makes you wonder harder about who the captor is.  The author makes a great job giving little bits and pieces that make the reader doubt every man in the plot which I really enjoyed.  We’ll also learn things about Elenore and find out that not all is as it seems and it makes for a suspenseful tale of crime and deceit.
I’m eagerly waiting for the conclusion of the story.

 

4 Book Corner Stars
This story picks up right where left off and it didn’t disappoint me at all. This story had me captivated from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down until the very last page. The writing, the pacing, everything about this book was just perfect. Novella’s are usually hit or miss for me and this short story packed a powerful punch! In this installment we are given more pieces to the puzzles and I had all of these theories when I read the first part and now the author has me second guessing myself as I continued to read. This book has so much suspense and mystery and I couldn’t help but try and rack my brain and figure out who the Captor could possibly be. Every time I thought I had it figured out the author would throw another curve ball and it’s back to square one. We also had some secret revelations in this story which ties into certain aspects of the story as well. I really enjoyed this book better than the first one and I can’t wait to see how everything concludes in the next story!

Liz is from bright and sunny Queensland, Australia. She has always been a reader. When she was little, she’d be up late reading Garfield and Asterixcomic books and also Footrot Flats. When Liz hit high school, they gave her Tomorrow When the War Began by John Marsden, and from there her love of books continued to grow.
