Goodreads

Jeremy and Sylvie for the last few months have had a passionate affair. One day Jeremy just goes missing. Four long years have gone by and he finally awakens from his coma.  Everything is different and he has a lot of unanswered questions. Sylvie has moved on with her life but a part of her is still living in the past. She is married to Silas and right off the bat I didn’t like him. I had a feeling he knew more than what he was saying. With the way the story was set up I was expecting way more angst and drama. Sadly with this book it didn’t give me the angst and drama I needed. Sylvie annoyed me when she blamed Jeremy for “abandoning” her! Um, hello he was in the hospital for 4 years in a coma!!! After that she pretty got no sympathy from me. Jeremy was done so wrong and betrayed by the people he loved and I wish we would have gotten more of his take on the situation. I wish we had more back story on Jeremy and Sylvie. POV’s from Silas and Noah would have been nice as well since they all played key parts in this story. There are some twists that I didn’t see and was surprised. Overall I did enjoy the story but just wished we got more.
