Blogger Bits: Heroines
Welcome to another round of Blogger Bits! This time we will be talking about strong heroines in honor of Women’s History Month.
The first strong woman that comes to mind is Beth Randall from the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series! Beth was thrown into a world she never existed! One day she was working at the newspaper and the next day she’s informed she is an half-breed vampire. Beth handled everything that was thrown at her and she even became the Queen and a woman of worth!
Last weekend I was home and some random station had on The Hunger Games movies on back to back. I totally forgot how bad ass Katniss was in this series!! I loved what she represented and how she fought for change and wasn’t afraid to challenge authority for the right thing.
Last but not least my favorite strong female is Gwen Robinson. She isn’t a book character, she is my mom. She raised 3 kids on her own AND purchased her own house that she still owns to this day. If that isn’t the definition of strong, I don’t know what is!
